Frozen Sunrise at Big Delta Bridge

In temperatures around 30 below zero, ice fog forms on the Tanana river as it crosses beneath the Big Delta Bridge. The fog catches the light from the sunset and drifts above the current like an ethereal serpent. Any snow on trees, bushes, and the bridge itself crystalizes and reflects the sunrise colors in amazing ways. You can stand there in such awe that you forget how cold you're getting as the warm sunlight colors reach inside you almost as fast as the cold itself.
